Interesting story on the future of cities and suburbs. Perhaps.
Wishful thinking on the future of cities and suburbs. The author seems to be completely unaware of the existence of employment centers beyond the central city.
He also underestimated the American love affair with the automobile and aversion to walking.
I do think the central areas of many cities will thrive, however, that will be relatively small compared to the continued growth of suburban sprawl.
People want their big lots and three car garages.
