River North sites slated for demolition

by Joe Zekas on 5/12/14

Demolition permits were issued on Friday for 703 and 705 N Wells. These buildings once hosted, respectively, the Trowbridge Gallery and O’Hara’s Gallery. The site is slated for future development, and it’s just south of where Magellan Development and Mac Management plan to build a 298-unit apartment tower on the site currently occupied by the Howard Johnson motel.

User spyguy has just posted renderings of the proposed HoJo tower at SkyscraperPage.
