Beginning tonight–tonight–the popular Sake and Sushi 101 class returns to Sushisamba Rio, the stylish River North restaurant at 504 N. Wells St. The two-hour, hands-on event, held in the restaurant’s year-round rooftop lounge, allows you to sample five types of sake, each paired with food; and to learn how to roll maki sushi.
If you miss tonight, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., identical classes occur on Feb. 7 and March 13. You’ll walk away with an improved knowledge of sake, and an informative booklet to help you remember all that you forget in the weeks following.
