I’ve met and interviewed Philip Barash twice, both times on weekends and in sharply different venues. Our first meeting was in the striking six-story atrium at 311 South Wacker, and our second in his condominium at 235 Van Buren, one of or sponsors. On both occasions I couldn’t help but notice his quiet but distinctive sartorial style.
Crain’s Style File also took note and interviewed Barash, who is currently the marketing director at Forum Studio, in his home at 235 Van Buren. In the above video, which focuses on his wardrobe, you’ll see just enough of his unit to note how thoroughly informed it is by a disciplined and informed design sensibility. You’ll get a more through look in the following video.
