See Chris Kennedy’s remarks at the Wolf Point groundbreaking

by Joe Zekas on 7/18/14

Construction has been underway for months on a 509-unit, 48-story apartment tower at Wolf Point, the iconic site where the Chicago River forks to the north and south.

It’s typical for an official groundbreaking ceremony to occur well after the actual groundbreaking that marks the start of construction. On Friday, July 18, 100s of people attended the official groundbreaking.

The Wolf Point site has been associated with the Kennedy family for nearly 70 years, and plans to develop the property date back more than 30 years.
