Sign o' the times: 9 West Erie lot for sale

Obviously Provence Development is keeping its options open when it comes to the surface parking lot at 9 W Erie St in River North.

Real Living Helios Realty still has listings up for four condos at Provence’s proposed 9 West Erie high-rise — two 825 square-foot one-bedrooms priced in the $360s, and two two-bedrooms with 976 and 1,430 square feet, listed in the $570s and $650s, respectively — but this “Site Available” sign at the corner of State and Erie streets suggests that this dustbunny has hit the bin.

Provence planned to seek LEED certification for the 14-story, Weiss Architecture-designed tower. The latest construction timetables pushed deliveries back into 2011 at last check.
