Kudos to Midwest Real Estate Data, the local Multiple Listing Service, for what appears to be a prompt smackdown of a stupid Realtor trick that we called out only a few days ago.
As you can see from the above screen cap, Dream Town Realty’s deceptive suggestions that consumers access an MLS search have been removed and replaced by more accurate “Property Search” language. Other deceptive come-ons on the site’s home page have been removed, and the embedded video at the upper left has been disabled.
This isn’t the first time that Dream Town has cleaned up its sorry act by deleting misleading language from this site. In the past, after a several month lag, the deceptions were reinstated. Will this be just another temporary fix?
