Some dazzling images from Hubbard Place apartments

by Joe Zekas on 7/2/14

As someone who dabbles in photography almost every day, I’m always in awe of the work of professional photographers. While I try to do a credible job of portraying what a place looks like, Paul Morgan paints an image with light, brings a place to life and involves you in what it feels like.

When you see the city through the eyes of a talented photographer, it’s “always the city seen for the first time, in its first wild promise of all the mystery and the beauty in the world.”

I visited Hubbard Place, the new luxury apartment tower in River North, several times when it was under construction, but haven’t seen the finished product.

Hubbard Place will be sponsoring our review page and sent along dozens of Paul Morgan images yesterday. The ones in this post are a sampler, and I’ll be updating more into the review and visiting Hubbard Place for a video tour. Check back next week for the results, or visit Hubbard Place for your own tour.
