Crain’s Chicago Business is reporting that CMK Companies is acquiring a vacant 6.5-acre parcel south of Harrison St and north of River City along the river. According to Crain’s, the site where parts of Divergent were filmed is being acquired by another developer. The above shot was taken from 235 Van Buren, a 714-unit condo development by CMK.
CMK affiliates recently purchased 1.8 and 5.1-acre riverfront lots just south of River City and north of Roosevelt Rd.
