Streeter Place, June 12, 2009Streeter Place, the 53-story, 480-unit rental tower at 353 E Ohio St in Streeterville has been topped off and is getting ready for Aug. 1 move-ins, according to leasing manager Rachel Brandstaetter.

The building has already started pre-leasing, and while Brandstaetter could not disclose how much of the property had been rented thus far, she said “it’s going pretty good.”

Studios in the building range from $1,220 to $1,538 a month, with 708 square foot convertibles going for $1,570 to $1,741 a month. One-bedrooms with 785 to 1,010 square feet are priced from $1,642 to $2,363 a month, two bedrooms with 1,222 to 1,235 square feet range from $2,619 to $2,892 a month, and 1802 square-foot three-bedrooms are priced from $3,995 to $4,062 a month.

Renters who sign a 12-month lease agreement will receive two free months rent, Brandstaetter says. Gas, water, air conditioning, wireless Internet, and basic extended cable are included in the rent.

The building, which was designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and built by Golub & Company, features a fitness center, MP3-compatible sound system, outdoor pool and sun deck, media center, and party room.

Streeter Place is the second phase of The Streeter, a nearby rental tower that was completed in the summer of 2006.

Those rates already include the two free months. Although parking is only $99/month for tenants the first year – that’s a pretty good deal
