Suburban showcase: "Tuscan" living in Volo

At many developments, you can beat the looming federal tax credit deadlines by purchasing a turnkey home, but you won’t have much luck finding a place with some options for customization. At DR Horton‘s Symphony Meadows community in Volo, however, you can apply a personal touch to your new-construction single-family home and still close by the end of June, says sales manager Brenda Ross.

DR Horton offers 16 different floor plans at Symphony Meadows, with prices starting as low as $198,000 for a ranch-style home. Symphony Meadows’ location at the southwest crossing of Route 120 along Gilmer Road and just east of Route 12 offers a country setting situated near a wealth of city conveniences. Many family friendly amenities are already in place, including a playground, a basketball court, and a soccer field.

In this video, shot for the Spring 2010 Festival of Homes, Ross and Joe Zekas tour one of Symphony Meadows’ most popular residences, a 2,475-square-foot “Tuscan” home with a base price of $247,990.
