YoChicago started in business in 1987 as a weekly real estate newspaper called the Real Estate Profile.
Among other activities we sponsored five home shows, the last one at Navy Pier in 1989.
Join us for a nostalgic look at our Fall 1988 Sweet Home Chicago show. The show drew more than 7,000 visitors to North Pier (later known as the River East Art Center) to meet more than 100 exhibitors that ranged from real estate brokers to home lenders to architectural hardware vendors to developers and more.
Our sponsors included Chicago Brass, Citicorp Savings, Chicago Magazine, MCL Development, Jameson Real Estate and Chicago Magazine.
