Late last week four 20-foot sections were added to the tower crane at K2 at K Station, bringing it to its final height and enabling construction to advance from the 26th to its topping out at the 34th floor. When I visited K2 at K Station earlier today approximately 150 workers from various trades were busy assembling plumbing fittings, installing electrical equipment and windows, assembling and disassembling forms, pouring and finishing concrete – and engaged in a variety of other activities on the 496-unit 34-story apartment tower.
