The historic Shoreland Hotel at 5454 S South Shore Dr in Hyde Park could find new life as a 350-unit apartment building, according to the Sun-Times. Developer Antheus Capital has hired Jeanne Gang, designer of its proposed Solstice on the Park high-rise, to oversee the Shoreland’s interior work.
