If you asked me to guess the three most-watched YoChicago videos during the last 30 days, I’d have guessed wrong on all of them. YouTube Analytics spares me the exercise of guessing, and serves up an exact view count for each of the videos, out of the 1,000s we’ve published, that are currently drawing viewers. ...

According to Google Analytics, the number of unique visitors to YoChicago during 2012 was up 24.7% over 2011, and 86.8% over 2010. We reached more than 400,000 unique visitors last year, two-thirds of whom visited for the first time. Traffic to YoChicago, measured by the number of unique visitors, rose 49.8% in 2011 over 2010 levels. The rate of growth slowed in December, increasing by 4.6% over the previous December.
