The busiest block of Prairie Avenue

by Joel on 7/24/07

Here’s a 360-degree view of the busy 1600 block of South Prairie Avenue in the South Loop. Start by craning your neck toward The Gammonley Group’s Prairie Pointe, a 24-story high-rise with 156 units. The development is 88 percent sold, and the remaining one- to three-bedroom units are priced from the $360s to the $920s. Across the street, foundation work is underway at 1600 Museum Park, and in the distance sits the building that X / O Condominiums will replace, at 1712 S Prairie Ave.
