Are buyers unable to close because banks will not fund loans until a larger percentage of units are sold? OR is the buiding not finished on the inside although it looks completed on the outside? This place is very attractive and has interested many people at my workplace and I am sure they will appreciate the video tours that are posted on this site. I work nearby and am curious whether talk of it becoming rentals is true. Winthrop Club is a very nice building and rental prices in downtown Evanston are very high with the average rental in towers nearby in the 2,000's, and with a strong Northwestern University student base, the builder must be looking at all options. If this is still a condo only building, I have a co-worker who is now interested in buying.
