The retail heart of Beverly and Morgan Park

In the second segment from my video tour of Beverly and Morgan Park, I ride along with Marcia Walsh of the Beverly Area Planning Association down one of the main commercial corridors of both neighborhoods: the stretch of Western Avenue running between 95th and 115th streets.

95th and Western has changed a lot in the last decade. I’m even more surprised myself. It probably was more like a downtown than it is now. I’m sad that across the street the old Standard Bank is being demolished. It was such a nice building but things change. :(
