The spectacular view from Echelon at K Station

You feel the absence of sunlight more keenly when you have a great view of Chicago spread out before you. And the panoramic view from the 37th floor of Echelon at K Station is clearly a great one. I was there earlier today to shoot a sponsored video.

It’s highly unusual to have a view east along the Chicago River at the same time as a view of the L, Metra tracks, Kennedy Expressway, Trump, Aqua, the new Rush University Medical Center building – and so very much more.

I’ll definitely want to revisit this scene in the afternoon sun and evening lights. In the meantime, you can click on the image for a larger view or visit the leasing office at 353 N Desplaines St, where you’ll see some poster-sized images of the views.
