If you’re in the market for a high-end rental on Chicago’s New East Side you have options in two very different buildings in the complex: Aqua and 340 on the Park.
Aqua is a mixed-use building with a hotel on its lower floors, rental apartments in the middle and condos on the higher floors. Unit 7005, in the condo section, is a 2,000 square foot 3-bedroom, 3 bath unit with northeast views similar to the view above, which was shot from Aqua’s penthouse level. The rent is $7,500 a month, unfurnished.
340 on the Park is a luxury condo. Unit 4601 is available for rent furnished only for $7,450 a month. The 2,371 square foot corner unit has 3 bedrooms, 3 ½ baths, higher-end finishes than the Aqua unit, two terraces, and south, east and north views.
Both buildings have extensive amenities. Aqua has the edge in the scope of amenities, but that edge may be outweighed by the number and variety of individuals who have access to them. North-facing Aqua units will also be treated to construction of The Coast for at least the next year.
