Tinley Park: the best place to raise a kid

by Joseph Askins on 11/22/09

It has great schools, a vibrant downtown, and housing options that range from modest to luxurious. Oak Park Avenue, which serves as a Main Street shopping area, includes a beautiful town square where residents gather and children ride bicycles. Tinley Park also has a 28,000-seat outdoor concert amphitheater, one of the largest in the Chicago area.

- BusinessWeek, on why it selected Tinley Park as the best place in America to raise children. Runners up for Illinois: Arlington Heights and Schaumburg.

It’s also a great place to attack Muslims, apparantly.

They should come up with a new survey: “great places in America to attack Muslims”. I’m sure that list and the “great places to raise a kid” list would look very similar.

tup,

Your display of bigotry is absolutely stunning.

I think he was referring to this article:

This is sad, really.

chicagodude,

I know what tup was referring to.

What I don’t know is how one goes from a few incidents, the details of which remain to be established, to slandering a large number of American towns or even Tinley Park itself. Not only is there a presumption of guilt, but a presumption of collective guilt!

TUP & CD are lamenting the yanking off of a head scarf and some grafitti? If that offends their sensibilities so much I’m sure they were beside themselves with anger after Fort Hood. Murder, the ultimate “hate crime”.
