We've just completed the first rough draft of our YoChicago map of all new construction high-rises in the city. Push-pins are color coded by year of completion.

Stay tuned as we add a great deal of info to the map points and refine the functionality. If you have any suggestions for us, fire away in the comments.

Any news on "2100 Condos" by Rokas International? Will it be delayed or cancelled completely?

Thanks

South Loop, If you are buying, you may want to get your lawyer involved to check this out vs. the Internet. The news I heard this week is not good, if true. Many have also questioned the level of their involvement with the their original project on Motor Row (partners may have bought out or taken control). If their demise is true, this is yet another example of the lack of developer liscensing problems in the city.

What is additionally questionable and suspect is the unchecked support by organizations like the GSLA and NSPB, despite the objections of the locals over developer qualifications and project scope/scale. One can certainly question why they do not take into account developer history and financial qualifications before they tell the residents to eat it while trying to ram zoning changes and PD support down their throat. The build anything, anywhere mentality is really pushing some unprepared projects and developers to market.

How about we let them complete one project before giving them the keys to DPD and the city?
Oh, wait, buyer beware:)

Hello yochicago all I can say is genius idea, but of you know we want more. You guys need a day or week that you dedicate to first time buyers, because everyone does not work at CBOT. Thanks.

Are you thinking of a mash-up? Will you add photos/video? This would be really cool.

We're going to be adding a lot more features to the map in the reasonably near future.

Is this only residential? Because the huge project at 300 N. LaSalle is conspicuously missing, but that's an office tower.

Joe Zekas said:

Only residential.

y'all be missing SoNo - that's on Blackhawk Street near the North/Clybourn station.

Greg said:

never mind, y'all got it on there

City dweller said:

1400MP is residential.

City dweller,

Thanks for your persistence.

We'll verify that 1400 Museum Park still has units for sale and add it to the map.

This isn't the only residential condo high-rise that we've missed. As stated, this is still a first rough draft.
