Private deck, plus-sized parking spot for 663 West Barry's final buyer

I'll say this: Kim Korber didn't need YoChicago's magic touch in order to sell the condominiums at 663 W Barry Ave.
The project has garnered two brief mentions on YoChicago over the past two years. In that time, Korber, an agent with Jameson Realty Group, has sold all but one of the 12 condos at the Lakeview East property.
Being the last buyer to sign at 663 West Barry can have its perks. The lone unsold condo in the elevator building is a two-bedroom / two-bath unit on the building's top floor, which means the home has its own private rooftop deck. And since the home is the last one available, the buyer gets the last parking spot: the property's wide, ADA-compliant space.
Like the rest of 663 West Barry's homes, the unit has an energy-efficient design including geothermal heating and cooling and increased natural day lighting. Along with the roof deck, the condo has a balcony, and the home's location places residents just four short blocks away from Belmont Harbor and the lake.
The unit is priced in the $430s, according to the Jameson Web site.

Wow. I hope that building wins the ugly award for how it fails at sidewalk level. It looks like cars live there, not people. Unless there's some kind of camera trick hiding the main door to the building, the architect must never have heard the term "human-scaled" — that has to be the least welcoming entrance to a building in the neighborhood. It looks like you're entering a utility closet. Thank god this is the exception and not the norm in Lakeview.

CARFREE is totally right. I have always thought this was the ugliest of building entrances on Barry. Looks like the back door or something.
