Rowhomes of Printers Row now Polk Street Station

Rowhomes of Printers Row, planned for 777 S Dearborn St, has been renamed Polk Street Station after developer Paramount Homes decided to reconfigure the units from rowhouses to condos, according to Lauren Schreyer, of Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate.
Initial plans called for five rowhomes of four or five stories each. The new set-up will include five condos, some of them duplexes and some of them full-floor simplexes. The decision was driven by the market, Shreyer says. "The products that seem to be moving are duplexes or full-floor units," which she says lose less of their square footage to stairwells.
The exterior of the building, which was approved by the Chicago Commission on Landmarks, will not change, according to Shreyer.
She has the condos at Polk Street Station priced from $1.8 to $2.5 million.

This developer seems to have all of their projects on hold (if you visit their website).
I'm guessing it's the slow market? Either way, I like everything on their drawing board so far, especially the project at Grand & Halsted.
Regarding Polk St Station, it needs to be about 10 stories taller. What a waste..
