(Editor's note: I prepared the following post on Monday evening, prior to learning about YoChicago's new editorial direction. I'd hate to waste a decent blog entry, however, so humor me as I unload a little bit of our "old" news.)

McHugh Homes has sold three of its six new condominiums at 742 N Ada St in West Town, and the remaining three are ready for delivery, says Rubloff agent Ken Jungwirth.

The three-bedroom / two-bath homes are priced from the $470s to the $540s, Jungwirth says. Each unit comes with an attached garage parking space, according to the project's Web site.

Features at the all-brick, elevatored building include outdoor decks (most likely facing west, judging by what I could and couldn't see from Ada Street), stainless-steel kitchen appliances, a mix of hardwood flooring and carpet, and Grohe, Toto and Kohler bathroom fixtures.

As far as neighborhood amenities go, Eckhart Park is visible from the front door, and the Kennedy Expressway and the Blue Line are just around the corner on Chicago Avenue. While the building's one retail tenant, Devrim Cleaners, doesn't exactly scream "excitement," it does offer services that most residents can use.
