There’s been plenty of discussion in these pages over the past week about whether or not developers are providing enough one-bedroom condos in certain downtown neighborhoods, and it’s an important topic that’s worth considering. However, some (extremely wealthy) buyers just want to spread out, with a half floor or even a full floor of a high-rise all to themselves, and they can do just that at these River North developments.
One common feature that these five buildings share is that they’re all slender enough that only one or two large condos will fit on a single floor. The Trump Tower is the exception to that rule, and the only half-floor unit that I found in that building is so big — 6,850 square feet — that it fills out half of the building’s 87th floor.
