When we explored the custom homebuilding process, we learned all about how homebuyers can express themselves through the design of their house. So when we spotted this single-family home in suburban Park Ridge, we figured the owner must have been reincarnated from a Roman emperor. The interior of the four-bedroom home, located at 1212 S Knight Ave, is loaded with classical columns and arches, and the powder room is painted with a mural that would fit right in in an Olive Garden restroom. There’s also a library with coffered ceilings and a wine cellar and full bar in the basement. Rubloff has the house listed for $1.35 million. Check out more pictures inside, or take a virtual tour.
