Touring Ravenswood Gardens with Chris Moran

by Joseph Askins on 6/12/09

In the first part of their walk around Ravenswood Gardens, Joe Zekas and Sudler Sotheby’s agent Chris Moran stroll along the 2600 block of Windsor and talk about homes and price levels. Chris is a 22-year resident of the area and a treasure trove of local lore.

In case you missed them, you can watch videos of Joe and Chris’ tour of the Waters School grounds and its rustic gardens.

Interesting videos. I’ll need to ride over there and take a look around. The landscaping at the school is impressive.

As “da mare” might say: “Who knew?”

IrishPirate,

Take the scenic route west on Wilson Ave from Uptown.

Joe,

I’m hoping the WNBR will travel through that area tomorrow. Get both types of sightseeing done at the same time.

I myself won’t be riding sans clothing. I wouldn’t want to get shot with a tranquilizer gun by animal control. They might think some hairy primate escaped from Lincoln Park Zoo or City Hall.

Plus I wouldn’t want to get anything caught in the spokes.
