Turning tenants into party animals

Rents may be rising and vacancy rates plummeting, but Chicago landlords are still competing on all fronts to gain new residents and retain existing ones.

One of the competitive weapons that’s been gaining traction in the rental wars lately is “resident appreciation events” – i.e., parties.

Planned Property Apartments hosts a variety of these events throughout the year, including Mixology 101, a rooftop party where expert mixologists showed residents of 2756 N Pine Grove how to make fall-inspired cocktails.

A popular annual event at several of Planned’s Gold Coast high-rises is a gathering of party animals at a rooftop pool.
