Union Row Townhomes joins the price cutters

by Sponsored post on 10/31/09

“Every competing project with townhomes suffered very slow sales velocity in much of 2008 and all of 2009. Every other major competing project has recently enacted very large, aggressive price discounts. The result of those price discounts has been dramatic, fast sales,” reports Zev Salomon, Belgravia Group VP and project manager for Union Row Townhomes.

Union Row is offering its own twist on price-cutting: offering four homes for sale with discounts of $65,000 to $80,000. The first buyer gets the largest discount, and can apply it to any of the four homes – which range in price from $530K into the low $700s.

In part two of the video Salomon takes me on a tour of one of the townhomes, an end-unit that boasts an unusually large yard.

Joe, what other projects are Zev specifically referring to when he said “Every other major competing project has recently enacted very large, aggressive price discounts. ” University Village being an obvious one, what else?

Pat,

I can’t speak for Zev. In addition to the Ivy Hall townhomes in University Village, projects near Union Row that have had major price cuts recently include Lexington Square, in Bridgeport, Metro Place, and Roosevelt Square.
