Converting churches to condos is nothing new — we work down the street from a couple of them — but we don’t often see churches converted to single-family homes. This church at 1945 N Mozart St in Logan Square has been resurrected as a two-bedroom single-family home with 16-foot cathedral ceilings, stained glass windows, hardwood floors, moldings and a partially finished basement. Looks like you get a couple of crucifixes as well. Sudler Sotheby’s Ronda Fish has the property listed for $595,000.

Interesting. Do you think it is a bad marketing move to leave the crosses on the walls? I think this would be a turnoff to a portion of the market (ie non-chistians) who tour the home.

That’s what I’m saying, Sara.

Woof, what an exterior. This rookie agent did quite a job on pricing; should have been listed at $325-400k depending on what’s not revealed in the photos. You managed to get the listing, Ronda, but how are you gonna sell it? I’d tout its proximity to Hot Spot up the block, great Logan Berry panckakes.
