Real estate development in the West Loop has seen a dramatic shift within the past two years. An oversupply of 1- and 2- bedroom units has been absorbed, and buyers are now signing contracts prior to construction at new projects offering 3-bedroom units.
Belgravia Group has recently sold and completed two 24-unit developments, sold out a 40-unit project prior to the start of construction and had, as of ten days ago, 24 contracts on a 50-unit development that won’t begin construction until late this fall. The sole reason for the delay is the time necessary to secure building permits.
