Wrightwood Crossing condos continue to close

One of the freshest closings in Lincoln Park is unit #205 at Wrightwood Crossing, 1307 W Wrightwood Ave, which sold last week for $600,000. The 1,510 square-foot, two-bedroom / two-bath home was one of six units in the 19-unit, new-construction building that were discounted last fall, dropping in this case from from $639,000 to $619,000.

An identically sized unit, #206, dropped from $630,000 to $565,000 in November, and eventually sold in late December for $600,000. Six other homes have closed since August, at prices ranging from $450,000 for a 1,252 square-foot two-bedroom, to $1.17 million for a 2,783 square-foot four-bedroom. Another five are either under contract or have received contingent offers.

The Lowe Group has five active listings in the building:

  • Unit #102, a 2,542 square-foot three-bedroom / four-bath with two deeded parking spaces, priced at $895,000
  • Unit #105, a 1,510 square-foot three-bedroom / two-bath with one deeded parking space, priced at $549,000
  • Unit #201, a 4,370 square-foot five-bedroom / 4.5-bath with two deeded parking spaces, priced at $1.99 million
  • Unit #303, a 2,240 square-foot three-bedroom / three-bath with two deeded parking spaces, priced at $949,000
  • Unit #306, a 2,240 square-foot three-bedroom / three-bath with two deeded parking spaces, priced at $899,000

The development’s website also shows unit #101, a 2,542 square-foot three-bedroom / 2.5-bath with two deeded parking spaces, still for sale for $895,000.

Wrightwood Crossing has a brick, stone, wood, and metal exterior; a heated garage with bike storage; a computer-controlled elevator; and a green roof with common deck. Developer G.Corp and 1016 Architecture designed the building to qualify for LEED Platinum certification.

The building’s address gets a “Very Walkable” Walk Score of 89 from WalkScore.com. CTA’s Fullerton Station, serviced by the Red, Brown, and Purple lines, is a half-mile walk away, as is the Diversey Station, serviced by the Brown and Purple lines, and the 74 Fullerton and 76 Diversey bus lines make stops a quarter-mile away, giving the location an “Excellent Transit” score of 75.
