More than two-thirds of the more than 85,000 unique visitors to YoChicago each month are new to the site, and only 14% of our visitors come directly to the site. Seventy-seven percent of our visitors come here via organic search.
What those numbers tell us is that we’re meeting our objective of providing information about Chicago homes, apartments and neighborhoods to an audience that’s looking to buy or rent rather than simply read about real estate.
We also make our information available at YouTube, where we’ve just passed the 3,000 subscriber mark, at Facebook, and at Twitter. We also add with some regularity to the more than 13,000 photos we’ve posted to Flickr. The majority of those photos don’t appear on YoChicago.
