What do Evanston condo developers and Toyota have in common? Both look like they are desperately trying to unload end-of-year stock. If you always fancied living up that way and driving an enviro-friendly Prius hybrid car, here’s your chance for a two-fer. TR Realty Workshop has announced that it’s offering buyers of two remaining units at either Roszak/ADC’s Chicago Avenue Place or 1572 Maple Avenue, a 2005 Prius, or equivalent credit toward the unit sale price. That roughly equates to $19,000 in savings on a $700,000 purchase. Winter is always a slow time for real estate sales, but this is probably the biggest incentive we’ve seen so far this silly season. Have so many condo developers descended on Evanston of late that it’s becoming a buyer’s market?
