1225 Old Town, the new 16-story, 250-unit apartment tower at 1225 N Wells St in Old Town, is leasing up rapidly.
The following update came via email yesterday from David Bach, an associate with Hines Interests:
Just wanted to let you know that we’ve received our certificate of occupancy for floors 1-8 and accordingly have opened up our lobby, leasing center, and model units.
Things are looking great and we’re already well over 100 leases signed to date. First move-ins will start the weekend of 7/15.
That’s pretty impressive progress since I walked through the project with Bach just a few weeks ago:

just curious why you used the picture you used — it’s the west side of Wells, directly opposite the project @1225 North.

I chose it to illustrate what’s available directly across the street, also to show the scale of the area, which I thought would be useful items of info to some. There are plenty of shots of the building itself in the video.
