212 East down to last 10 units

Only 10 units remain for sale at 212 E. Cullerton, a contemporary South Loop development with loft-like units.
“Six of the remaining units have premium corner locations, so we saved some of the best for last,” said Keith Giles, partner in Frankel & Giles Real Estate, co-developer with State Street Development Corp. “These will not last long because of the value offered here at 212 East.”

The building was designed by architect Pat FitzGerald, of FitzGerald Associates, a pioneer in designing Chicago lofts. FitzGerald took some cues from loft design at 212 East, adding things like floor-to-ceiling-windows, exposed ducts and 10-foot ceiling heights.

The condos have maple or oak floors in living areas, Italian cabinets, marble entry foyers, granite counters, Grohe faucets, track lighting and individual furnaces.

“The buyers, who include everyone from first-time purchasers from the city to empty nesters from the suburbs, see the quality and workmanship,” said Brian Giles, a partner in Frankel & Giles. “They have shopped the condominium market and realize we are installing better finishes than the competition.”
