When we heard that Vince Vaughn was closing on the penthouse at The Palmolive Building we raced out and bought a whizz-bang camera so that we could go all papparazzo and bring you all the action up close (Joel insisted on getting a video camera, too).
While we wait for them to move in we went looking in other peoples’ bedrooms, in this case, the concrete bunker, er, penthouse at Ashton Lofts in Lincoln Park. We’ll reserve judgment on the penthouse until it’s finished, but hopefully it won’t end up in my small collection of ugly penthouses, which includes R Kelly’s former penthouse.
