For that amount, one buyer was able to pick up a 1,200 square-foot two-bedroom / two-bath at Gallery 1250, 1250 N LaSalle St, in early July; another bought a 1,076 square-foot two-bedroom / two-bath at 1360 N Sandburg Ter in Sandburg Village in early August. Both units went on the market this year at $309,900 apiece.

Currently there are four condos and townhomes listed in Old Town for $299,000:
