Wanna live in the Green Bay Packers' camp down by Soldier Field?

Now here’s something that has really flown under the radar – a guy who sits on the board of the Green Bay Packers has developed a loft project and opened a ground-floor restaurant in spitting distance of our Soldier Field. We’ve mentioned developer Mike Wier’s Brett Favre Lofts before (just jokes, people, its real name is Casablanca Lofts), but we thought it BEARED mentioning again. Yo’s truly visited Wier’s Kroll’s South Loop bar last weekend and can report that it’s respectfully decorated with Bears paraphernalia. But still, its namesake bar, Kroll’s West, is located across from Lambeau Field. Wier’s camp tells us that in the early stages of construction at Casablanca Lofts, a former printing company warehouse, one of the workers yanked Wier’s chain by writing “Go Bears” in the wet cement.
