Manchester Lofts – Heaven is living between a wine bar and a neighborhood bar

Yo’s truly often walks past the Manchester Lofts, 2035 W Charleston St, and wonders about the 18-unit building’s history. We thought it was a former school building but can’t be sure. Does anyone know? One selling point that the above link to a real estate agent’s Web site neglects to mention is the building’s incredible location – it’s midway between the chi chi Meritage Cafe and Wine Bar and The Charleston, the charming old neighborhood bar that many of you are probably familiar with.
