New timber loft projects aren’t as prevalent as they were back in the 1980s and 1990s, but lately we’ve noticed a few popping up here and there. The latest is 154 Lofts on West Hubbard, Foxford Development’s conversion of a six-story building into 18 two-bedroom lofts.
The homes, some of which have “media rooms,” feature stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, oversized showers with body sprays and 12- to 14-foot ceiling heights. Prices range from the $530s to $1.09 million, and delivery is slated for spring 2007.
