The conversion of an old industrial laundry at 5427 N Broadway St into Broadway Village Lofts is still underway. Yo’s truly hasn’t yet checked out Cotes du Rhone, the French bistro across the street, which is a relatively new arrival, but we’re hearing good reports from locals. And of course another eatery, Pepitone’s, is due to open next door to Broadway Village Lofts (don’t think it has yet, although I can’t be sure.)Click for larger image

  • Call them lofts if you want to, they’re classic one bedrooms to me. I thought lofts were completely open floor plans, save the bathroom, where your imagination is free to layout your personalized signature en toto. Guess not.

The western 4th floor units have the great balconies at the sacrifice of floor space. Units with the large 18’x22′ living areas are optimal for imaginative interior space delineation taking away the outdoor space. Bedrooms are average sized and unsuited.
All the modern conveniences and choice appointments you’d expect.
Close to the lake and services galore. Great for the up-and-comer/first time home buyer on the go.
