The Fisher Studios Houses were built in the 1930s and designated a Chicago Landmark in 1996, but we’ve got a hunch there was a remodel done sometime around the mid-’80s. These days, the building houses a collection of condos, one of which we found for sale on Craigslist.
The one-bedroom condo features granite counters, a wood-burning fireplace, marble counters in the bathroom and an office / reading area to store your collection of Flock of Seagulls and Duran Duran records.
Heavy on the glass-block walls and sleek, black accents, the condo is priced fairly reasonably for its Gold Coast location. Dwell One Realty has the unit listed at $265,000. Now we just need somewhere to park the De Lorean.
