Renzo Piano's designs on The Art Institute of Chicago

Here’s a rendering of Renzo Piano’s design for the $220 million Modern Wing of The Art Institute of Chicago, courtesy of the Art Institute.

This is a north elevation view, as seen from Millennium Park. The wing is under construction and should be finished by summer 2009. It will provide the Art Institute with 30 percent more gallery space and educational facilities.
