Astoria Tower's floor plan keeps parking inside

Yo wrote last year about Astoria Tower‘s innovative layout, which wrapped condos around a central core of parking spots, keeping State and 9th streets blissfully free of the parking podiums that prop up many high-rises.

Here’s a look at the floor plan for the 30-story high-rise (under construction at 8 E 9th St in the South Loop) to give you a better idea of what we’re talking about.

One-bedroom homes (priced from the $230s) face the street on floors two through nine.
