Back in the summer of 2006, Yo reported that Silver Tower, a glassy high-rise under construction at 303 W Ohio St, was 75 percent sold. Construction has proceeded apace since then, but the latest sales figures (obtained Friday from the @properties marketing team) show 81 of the project’s 225 homes still available.
That means 144 have sold – about 64 percent, if my math’s correct. Chalk up the discrepancy to a turbulent market and nervous buyers, maybe? I’ll look deeper into the price sheet (pleasantly organized by floor and unit format) next week.
