Since first looking at a rendering of Centrum Properties‘ Lofts at Roosevelt Collection, I’ve always wondered how a new intersection would be added to the Roosevelt Bridge, and, as several commenters have asked, if it would be set on a strong grade.
When I visited the construction site yesterday, both mid-rise buildings appeared to be topped off, or at least close to topping off, so it’s easier to imagine what the development will ultimately look like, and it doesn’t appear to be angled on a significant grade. The photo above at right shows the view down Wells Street, which shows the difference in elevation between Roosevelt and other nearby streets.
In July, Jordan Cooper of Centrum Properties said first move-ins would begin in the spring of 2009, and that some of the retailers would open shop at the same time. Watch my video with Cooper at the Lofts at Roosevelt Collection sales center here.
