Sales of new homes slowed slightly in January, due largely to inclement weather, but still beat analysts’ forecasts.
Sales of new single-family homes fell 1.7 percent, to a seasonally-adjusted annual rate of 1.106 million units from an upwardly revised rate of 1.125 million in December, according to the U.S. Commerce Department.
