Soul Cycle recently opened at the retail level of the 1225 Old Town apartment tower, joining the upscale Plum Market and Intelligentsia Coffee in the building.
1225 Old Town raffled a free ticket to a $1,000 per person fundraising event at Soul Cycle for the Born This Way Foundation. Lady Gaga headlined the event, which raised more than $50,000 for the foundation.
Erika, a 1225 Old Town resident, won the raffle, participated in the event, and sent along this report:
Lady Gaga was a true class act and seemed very touched by everyone who was there to support her cause. She spoke a couple of times during the ride. We had a dance party in the middle of the room. She hugged and danced with just about everyone!
It was an amazing event for a great cause! I am incredibly grateful to my leasing office for the wonderful opportunity!
The opening of Soul Cycle reinforces 1225 Old Town’s emphasis on fitness, expanding the already wide range of options available to 1225 residents.
1225 Old Town’s amenities suite includes a rooftop pool and sundeck with gas grills, a resident lounge, a business café, a demonstration kitchen, a fully-equipped fitness room, a media room and a rooftop dog run.
